mpls-isis-link-deletion-delay
Provides for the configuration of a delay in the link down event processing.
Syntax: mpls-isis-link-deletion-delay [disabled | delayVal]
delayVal
Specifies the period of delay in milli-seconds. Valid values: 0 - 60000ms. Default value: 200ms
Description: A delay in the processing of link down events reduces the probability of a false link down indication when IS-IS fragments exist and TLVs in other routers move among fragments.
Use the mpls-isis-link-deletion-delay command to configure a delay in link down event processing of up to 60 seconds.
Use the no mpls-isis-link-deletion- delay command to reset the delay in link down event processing to the default value.
Use the mpls-isis-link-deletion-delay command to disable the command. If the command is disabled, the timer is not used at all.
Factory Default: 200ms.
Command Mode: MPLS TE.
Example 1: In the following example, the mpls-isis-link-deletion-delay command configures the link down delay processing to 1000ms:
router#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#mpls te isis
router(config-te)#mpls-isis-link-deletion-delay 1000ms
router(config-te)#end
