show isis hostname


Displays hostname to system-ID mapping, when the mapping is enabled.

Syntax: show isis hostname

Description: Displays the hostname to system-ID mapping, when the mapping is enabled. Mapping is enabled using the hostname dynamic command.

Factory Default: None.

Command Mode: Executive and privileged.

Example 1: The following is sample output of the show isis hostname command when hostname-to-system ID mapping is disabled:

router#show isis hostname

Dynamic Hostname for IS-IS is not enabled.



Example 2: The following is sample output of the show isis hostname command when hostname-to-system ID mapping is enabled:

router#show isis hostname

Level System ID Dynamic Hostname

2 1000.5000.0001 NPIshelf1

2 1000.5000.0002 NPIshelf2

2 1000.5000.0003 NPIshelf3

2 1000.5000.0004 NPIshelf4

1 1000.5000.0007 NPI-TSR7

System ID

Hostname of the host.
