clear ip bgp peer-group
Resets BGP connections to all members of a BGP peer group.
Syntax: clear ip bgp peer group peer-group-name
peer-group-name
Specifies the peer group whose members have their BGP connections reset.
Description: Once you have defined two routers as BGP neighbors, they form a BGP connection and exchange routing information. If you add or change BGP access lists, weight, distance, version, timers, you must clear the BGP connections for the modification to take effect.
Use the clear ip bgp peer group command to reset BGP connections to all members of a BGP peer group.
Factory Default: None.
Command Mode: Executive.
Example: The following example resets BGP connections to all members of the peer group named internal:
router#clear ip bgp peer-group internal
