log-adjacency-changes
Enables/disables logging of adjacency change notices.
Syntax: [no] log-adjacency-changes
Description: By default, adjacency changes reported by the router are not displayed on the console.
Use the log-adjacency-changes command to enable display and logging of adjacency changes.
Use the no log-adjacency-changes to disable the logging of adjacency changes.
NOTE The IS-IS information level for logging-filter must be enabled using the logging-filter isis info command for the log-adjacency-changes command to operate.
Factory Default: Adjacency changes are not logged.
Command Mode: Router configuration.
Example: In the following example:
- IS-IS information level for logging-filter is enabled for the primary route controller.
- The the router isis command enables IS-IS on the router, specifies an IS-IS instance, and changes the command mode to Router configuration,
- The log-adjacency-changes enables logging of adjacency changes,
- The show running-config isis command displays the setting:
router#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#server 1
router(config-server)#logging-filter isis info
router(config-server)#exit
router(config)#router isis npi
router(config-router)#log-adjacency-changes
router(config-router)#end
router#show running-config isis
